I believe that birth is sacred, not because it’s perfect, but because it’s powerful. Each birthing person deserves to feel supported, respected, and informed through every contraction, decision, and breath. That’s the heart of my work as a doula: holding space, offering comfort, and helping you feel deeply seen as you bring new life into the world.
My doula practice is grounded in evidence-based care, intuitive connection, and radical gentleness. But my journey into birth work didn’t start here, it began in the classroom.
I’m also a college professor in Early Childhood Education, where I’ve spent years teaching and mentoring the next generation of early learning professionals. My academic work is rooted in child development, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive teaching, all of which shape how I show up as a doula. Whether I’m guiding students or supporting laboring families, my goal is the same: to nurture confidence, compassion, and connection.
Trauma-informed and affirming care
Collaborative relationships with partners, providers, and families
Evidence-based support with emotional intelligence
Open communication with respect for your preferences and values
Anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and body-positive values
When you work with me, you're not just hiring a doula, you're choosing someone who will walk alongside you, cheer you on, advocate for your voice, and trust you to birth in your own powerful way.
