A birth doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and birth. I help you prepare, offer comfort techniques during labor, support your partner, and help you feel confident in your decisions — without replacing your medical care provider.
Midwives are medical professionals who monitor you and your baby’s clinical health. A doula does not perform medical tasks — I am there to support your emotional well-being, help you cope physically, and ensure your voice is heard throughout the process. We work beautifully alongside one another.
Yes to all of the above! I support births wherever you feel safest — hospitals, home births, or birth centers. I’m familiar with local facilities and work collaboratively with all types of providers.
That’s absolutely okay! My role is to support your birth — not to push a specific method or agenda. Whether your birth is unmedicated, medicated, or surgical, I will be there to help you feel informed, supported, and grounded.
Yes. Many clients with high-risk pregnancies benefit from having a doula’s presence for emotional support, communication, and comfort. I will work within your medical team’s recommendations to support your unique needs.
My goal is not to replace your partner, but to support both of you. I help partners know how to be present and engaged, provide breaks, offer guidance, and reduce stress so they can also enjoy the experience.
Yes. My practice is trauma-aware, inclusive, and affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures. I create a space where you can show up fully and be honored for who you are.
I have a trusted network of backup doulas. If I am unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or overlapping labors, a backup will be available (and introduced ahead of time when possible). In the rare event no one is available, you will receive a partial refund based on services rendered.
Please see the Pricing tab for more information.
As soon as you’re ready! Many people reach out in the first or second trimester, but I accept clients at any point in pregnancy as long as I have availability.
